The Role

Join a company that is a member of the UK’s Magic Circle of leading law firms, who are on the hunt for exceptional Business Analyst’s to join their team. This company are looking for individuals who are passionate about business analysis, who won’t shy away from a challenge, and will bring the very best of themselves to the work they do. The role will typically involve:

• Supporting successful delivery and adoption of change which provides value to the business
• Defining the business analysis approach and proactively driving this forward to success
• Ensuring solutions best enable the changes required across systems, people and processes
• Ensuring requirements elicited can feasibly be implemented by delivery partners and will meet the quality we need
• Building the profile of the team through the delivery of excellent quality proactive analysis
• Working across multiple projects/initiatives at different stages to add value as a BA
• Supporting development of the business analysis team by contributing to the creation of enhanced standards for delivering business analysis

Skills and Experience

• Proven IT BA experience working across the business and IT at a senior level, preferably on multiple concurrent projects or initiatives
• Excellent communication skills – able to confidently communicate with the Business in their language and translate these conversations to IT (and vice versa!)
• The ability to constructively challenge the status quo with business stakeholder to seek the best outcomes
• The ability to identify risks to projects and evaluate and seek to mitigate the potential impact
• The ability to apply business analysis tools and techniques to all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
• An analytical mindset – able to quickly understand requirements, and to identify, evaluate, and propose, potential solutions
• Business Analysis qualification
• Commercial acumen including an understanding of the overall picture of how to add value to the business and within IT delivery
• Proven experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of seniority

You will stand out if you also have;

• BCS Business Analysis Diploma (part or full qualified)
• Knowledge of the IT market and trends
• A passion to create value through business analysis and to raise the profile business analysis as a discipline
• Experience working in multiple project delivery methodologies including Agile/ SCRUM & BDD
• Experience in coaching/mentoring other Business Analysts
