They are looking for a talented Principal Software Engineer to lead one of their backend teams.

Your New Role
The last 24 months have been great for the company, with many of great hires across Software Engineering, Senior Appointments, Dev Ops and more… it’s time to take the next step in their growth journey!
They now need a Principal Engineer with an architecture and strong mentoring skills. This is a critical hire for the Developer Tooling function, helping improve the efficiency, throughput, quality, delivery and engineering culture.
The Principal Engineer will:
LEAD the team and provide clear direction in architectural decisions
SHAPE the team. Ensuring that the setup makes best use of available resources and enhances the quality and speed in functionality
MENTOR junior engineers
COLLABORATE with colleagues in Product Management team and Architecture team
IMPROVE software engineering practices and processes. Ensuring DevOps methods (CI/CD pipelines etc) are employed to deliver in an agile environment.
What you need
5 + years’ experience in Python, Go or Bash
Experience in AWS
Experience in deployment tools
Bonus – experience in Kubernetes
