This is a brand-new role which is home-based. Ideally you will be able to get to Milton Keynes maybe once or twice a month. You will be joining a tech provider who deliver solutions to schools, academies, and MATS across the UK.
Your line manager previously encompassed this function as part of their role so you will get lots of first-hand support. The core offerings are software around HR and payroll, as well as education support, finance, and facilities management. They have an impressive presence in the marketplace with over 2000 schools, mats and academies using their solutions, which is growing, so it’s a great time to join.
Typically, you would work on 20 – 25 bids and tenders per year. Which could involve 70-page submissions and contract values being anything from £100k – £700k. There is a content library in place, and a tracker for current and future bid opportunities which you will maintain and develop. You will be great at working with teams and subject matter experts to help compile winning tenders. And you will be a great writer.
To apply, you must have previously worked in a bid writing role. Ideally within education, or for similar solutions (HR, finance etc). We would be keen to hear about the contracts you have won. How you work as part of a team, in particular with subject matter experts and how you manage multiple tenders in your workload.
