Our client, who are a logistics and distribution company, are seeking a permanent Administrator for their site in Grays.
The role:
• Managing Stock inventory at our depots – Sales Versus forecast, real-time actual.
• Managing various stakeholders in the business in reference to stock planning and re-ordering – Operations, Sales & logistics, European colleagues in our Shipping department.
• Planning/Scheduling Vessels to replenish stocks.
• Customs clearance/Destin8 (Working with Shipping agents) Some requirement from time to time to log on at weekend and clear a vessel (Takes 15 minute max)
• Updating system with forecasts led by commercial team.
• Assisting with Inbound calls when team is busy.
• Covering team when holiday, sick etc.

• Organised and structure who can forward plan
• Some experience in maintaining, planning stocks/inventory.
• Any shipping experience would be a positive!!
• IT literate – Use of Excel and formulas is key.

The hours of work are 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 3.45pm on Friday’s.
