REED Engineering Looking for Mechanical Project Engineer at Edenbridge Full Time

Reed Engineering are working with a rapidly growing privately owned company keen to secure a Mechanically biased Project Engineer experienced in delivering M&E projects, as soon as possible due to the expansion of their business.

Our client are working in the fields of Wastewater, Energy from Waste, Municipal Solids Waste and industrial sectors operating throughout the UK and internationally. The prime focus of the business is providing engineered solutions specifically in the field of biogas desulphurisation, odour control, heat exchangers and wastewater equipment. 

As the Mechanical project engineer you will be managing and delivering several diverse M&E projects at any one time, in the UK and overseas. You will interact with the engineering department, CAD team and the sales team.

Main Duties:

• Project Management (including commercial management)

• Project Delivery (Full life cycle)

• Design Engineering

• Production of Risk assessment method statements

• Technical support to sales/proposals team

• Design risk assessments / HAZOP’s

• Troubleshooting

• After sales technical support

• Attending FAT / SAT test.

• In common with most SME’s the successful candidate will be expected to perform other functions as required

There will be an element of overseas travel for site visits and commissioning of projects. 

Remuneration:

• Excellent salary commensurate with experience between £50,000 – £60,000

Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 Friday 08:30 – 16:00 

You will be based in Kent. The role will be mainly office based with occasional travel to sites, suppliers, clients etc.
