Well one our our clients is currently looking to expand their Rainham, Essex based Quality team with a Quality Engineer.
The Client:
International Market Leaders – design, manufacture and supply of bespoke bathroom features.
Overall Purpose of the Role:
• Responsible for ensuring that the products produced meet quality standards required to maximise customer satisfaction and minimise quality costs, whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.
• Responsible for working with cross functional team, as appropriate, to robustly resolve customer and internal quality issues.
• Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues and speedily resolving them to ensure zero impact to the manufacturing &/or customer.
• Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention and robust quality controls in manufacturing.
• Work with customer service team to improve customer satisfaction relating to Quality Concerns.

They are looking for someone who can openly communicate with colleagues and shareholders alike, demonstrating resilience, an optimistic approach whilst remaining open to change.
Working well with the team participating with the quality and production teams, whilst remaining focussed on producing results.
With a working knowledge of ISO9001, analytical and problem solving skills, ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes and a knowledge of quality tools.
Minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Engineering within Manufacturing, with a strong bias towards production support/ controls.
With demonstrable experience of a “hand on in production” problems solving approach.
Working knowledge of quality engineering tools, including APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, Control plans, SPC, Process capability and MSA.
