This would be the perfect role for an experienced Logistics Planner, who looking to take the next step in their career.

• 23,000 – 30,000 (depending on experience)
• Middlesbrough 
• Office Based

The Role:-

• Planning both in-house and 3rd-party truck fleets in a cost-effective manner.
• Consider budgets.
• Manage supplier instructions.
• Build positive and beneficial relationships with suppliers.
• Working as a solid team.
• Cross department communication and working.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Administration.
• Cost Control.

The Person:-

• Competent in the use of I.T. system, outlook, excel etc
• Good geographical knowledge
• Reasonable level of mathematics and ability to perform basic calculations
• Previous roles in transport planning or within logistics industry desirable
• Effective communicator, both internally and externally
• Ability to manage time and execute all tasks in prioritised structure
• Grow and develop relationships with suppliers
• Able to withstand high pressure situations
• Excellent team player
