Salary: Circa £31,393 per annum + excellent benefits package

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday7.30am – 3.15pm

We are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Technician for a Permanent opportunity based in Poole, Dorset for a recognised world leading supplier in the Energy & Equipment industry. Operating from their headquarters in Poole, set in the heart of the UK’s beautiful and picturesque south coast they are looking for a talented individual to join our team in a professional, friendly and supportive environment with competitive salaries and benefits.

About the Maintenance Technician vacancy…

Within this role you will be undertaking repairs and maintaining manufacturing related equipment throughout the facility.

Key duties will include;

• Planned and preventative service and repairs on all Electrical and Mechanical equipment, and providing 1st level fault finding on plant and equipment, initiating repairs.
• Install and test safety of new plant and equipment.
• Organise and prioritise work schedules to maximise plant and equipment up time, supervising all sub-contractors on site.
• Ability to shut down and start up all site equipment in a safe competent manner.
• All documentation and systems are maintained
• Management of maintenance systems to ensure full scheduling, complete all relevant paperwork / documentation and computer records to required standards

The successful applicant will possess:

• Level 3 diploma/NVQ or equivalent in either Electrical Technical Services, Electrical Installation, Installing Electro-technical Systems & Equipment
• Extensive Mechanical Experience within an industrial environment
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (17th Edition acceptable)
• Well organised and able to multitask
• Excellent computer skills including good working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
