Group Financial Accountant Manchester City Centre £45,000 – £50,000
A strong performing business operating in a specialist business services sector are looking for an ambitious newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their head office function in central Manchester. With flexible working/hybrid on offer, this is an ideal role for someone looking to move out of practice or gain more exposure within a group structure having qualified within industry.
Main duties will include;
- Preparation of Group and subsidiary statutory accounts
- Coordinating group audit
- Balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Submission of relevant tax – corporation, VAT & EU relevant taxes
- Assist with due diligence reporting for M&A activity
- Oversee monthly supplier payment runs & other ad hoc treasury management
- Posting of all relevant journals at month end
- Preparing board papers for review
Candidate profile;
- ACA/ACCA Qualified – practice background preferred
- Strong technical reporting skills
- Audit experience
