Retail Human Resources plc Looking for HR Manager at Nottingham , Nottinghamshire Full Time

A growing international beauty retailer is looking to recruit an HR manger to lead the people agenda across its distribution centre in Nottingham. They have a presence in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Holland therefore the distribution network will reach all of these markets. This newly created role is designed to help facilitate the growth of the people agenda for the European supply chain network in Nottingham. You will be working with international stakeholders to design and execute initiatives for creating local policies/procedures to create compliant with the UK market. They are looking for the HR manager to create a positive employee relations culture, building high engagement in collaboration with warehouse leaders. The current warehouse population is around 100 and there are plans to grow this number as the company itself grows.

The company is looking for someone from a distribution background who has experience with UK employment law who understands the challenges within a logistics and distribution environment. A background in retail distribution is advantageous but is by no means required. What is essential is that you have excellent knowledge of local labour laws and the ability to interpret, articulate and apply related legislation. You’ll be a change management champion who can successfully manage HR transformations as well as employee resistance to change. You’ll also have developed strong business partnering skills and have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels up to senior executives.
