Robert Walters Looking for Treasury Manager at Staffordshire Full Time

Our client, a UK leading health and wellbeing company is looking for a Treasury Main to join them in a time of growth and innovation. This candidate will be accountable for cash-related reporting and Group Treasury management, including daily monitoring, monthly forecast, budget and business plan and bank audits. Management of the Cashier’s team and overall accountability for the efficient use of the banking facility including drawdown management.

Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Manager

• Lead and manage the group’s treasury and cashiering function

• Responsible for ensuring adequate controls are in place over the Group’s banking arrangements and that best practice is followed, including preparing the monthly covenant certificates and dealing with the quarterly audit

• Prepare and post the daily RBS reporting requirements and maintain all required schedules ready for the month-end close process

• Prepare the monthly RBS reporting requirements and close down the ledgers in FACFLOW

• Responsible for managing cash flow, including daily and monthly reconciliation of the banking facility, and approving the draw-down of funds for supplier payments

• Responsible and ownership over ensuring overseas subsidiary payroll and payments are submitted and processed in time

• Liaise with Accounts Payable and Procurement over any supplier payment requirements outside of normal payment dates.

• Day to day management of the banking facility including availability reporting, the drawdown of funding and purchase of foreign currency.

• Recalculations and monthly reconciliation of Banking facility fees in line with finance facility document.

• Support the Group Financial Reporting Manager in any re-financing project.

• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly Group cash flow forecasts, providing guidance to the Group Financial Reporting Manager.

• Approval of BACS and supplier payments

• Preparation and review of Italian bonds requests and payments

• Preparing payment submission to cover cashier’s absence, when needed

• Able to critically analyse business situations, plan ahead, resolve problems and seek to continually improve performance

Key essentials of the Treasury Manager

• ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified with previous experience in the Treasury department

• Team management experience

• Strong background in working in a fast-paced environment

• Strong financial and management accounting background

• Experience in process improvement and implementing change
