Roma Black Associates Looking for Logistics Coordinator and Forklift Driver at Winchester Full Time

Roma Black are partnered with an established manufacturing company based in Winchester who are looking for a Logistics Coordinator with a forklift licence to join their team. 

Duties and responsibilities of a Logistics Coordinator: 

• Picking, packing, labelling and shipping of products. 
• Creating relevant shipping documents including dangerous goods notes if required. 
• Liaising with courier companies and freight forwarders to arrange collections.
• Maintaining logs of despatched goods including tracking numbers and costs.
• Maintaining stock levels of items such as cartons, wrapping and labels. 
• Sourcing freight quotes for shipments. 
• Liaise with customer service on urgent or delayed shipments. 
• Receiving goods in. 
• Carrying out audits. 

Skills and experience of a Logistics Coordinator:

• Experience of despatch, shipping and logistics.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence is essential.
• Reach Forklift licence would be preferred but not essential. 
• Knowledge of shipping dangerous goods would be an advantage.
• IT literate with good communications skills.
