The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join RPLC at a time of change within the organisation to join a small team managing a portfolio of grants with a diverse range of charities. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced grants manager who can also contribute to the wider direction of the charity.
The Organisation
Richmond Parish Lands Charities (RPLC) supports people in need who live in 4 postcode areas of Richmond. The charity has been supporting people and charities in Richmond for over 200 years and has an endowment including investment properties and residential. The charity provides grants to charities, schools and individuals giving out c£3 million in grants each year.
The charity trustees recently appointed a new CEO to lead the charity. The charity is embarking on a process of review to be reinvigorated and set a new vision and strategy to respond to changing local needs.
The Role
This role will be responsible for overseeing RPLC’s grant-making process working alongside the Education Grants Manager and reporting directly into the CEO. Responsibilities include:
The Person
You will have a passion and interest for working within the charity sector and delivering social impact. You will have demonstrated grants management experience within a similar grant funder or education based environment. Alternatively you will be able to demonstrate transferable skills into the role. We are looking for dynamic individuals to join the charity who can demonstrate initiative and contribute to the broader review of the charity and new direction.
