Service charge Accounts Assistant // Cheshire East // up tp £25.000

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant who has experience , or would like to gain experience, within the property sector.

This business is really thriving and has demonstrated a desire to develop and progress people in the business.

The Service Charge Accounts team are responsible for producing high volumes of service charge accounts for all the developments that the business manage.

Role will include:

• Preparation of service charge accounts, following given guidelines, to agreed deadlines
• Liaising with Managers regarding adjustments
• Resolution of queries
• Communication with external accountants, residents and property developers
• Preparation of draft levy calculations and liaising with Property Accounts regarding raising of invoices
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation for departmental auditing
• Continuous improvement of systems and processes
• Undertake other general duties as required from time to time as required

Experience:

• Previous experience of working within an finance team
• Understanding of double entry bookkeeping
• Good systems skills, quick to pick up new processes
• Highly organised, able to work to deadlines
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Enjoys a fast paced environment
