Job Title: Semi-Senior Accountant
Location: Cheshire, SK4
Salary: : £23,000 to £30,000 (Depending Upon Experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours (Flexi Hours)
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday (Hybrid working, Maximum 2 days per week in office)

Our client, who is an established accountancy firm in Cheshire and a sister company to a Top 20 firm of accountants and business advisors, are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their current friendly team. If you are ACCA or ACA part qualified (or QBE) with experience working in a similar practice role with audit experience this opportunity could be perfect for you.

Purpose

• Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships
• Preparing financial statements for limited companies
• Preparing regular monthly or quarterly management accounts
• Carrying out statutory audits towards completion of the audit file
• Mentoring junior team members and assisting in their professional development

Ideal Candidate

• Will be AAT qualified or studying towards Level 4, part qualified ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience
• Possesses a strong knowledge of accounts with experience of working within a team within a practice environment
• Has proven client handling ability with the ambition to progress your career in a progressive environment
• Currently has some audit experience but this is not essential and training can be provided if necessary
