The Department of Law and Criminology is looking for a lecturer to undertake teaching, assessment and administrative duties in Law.
You will be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the Department of Law and Criminology (DLC) and the Helena Kennedy Centre (HKC) including teaching and related duties across the undergraduate law programme. Opportunities for involvement with postgraduate teaching may also be available.
Expertise in the areas of Land, Business, Contract, Criminal or Constitutional Law would be helpful in this post along with a willingness to teach in these areas.
The Department of Law and Criminology comprises a diverse mix of colleagues with a broad range of academic and professional practice experience. The primary focus is on an applied curriculum underpinned by strong theoretical knowledge, the development and application of research skills and the enhancement of graduate attributes.

You must have a good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to Law. You must also have the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of stakeholders e.g. students and external clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
