Working for a leading Power Systems business based in North Bristol, you will be working on prestigious high value high voltage electricity network projects. Projects could include 132kV and 33kV Substations, Battery Storage Projects, Wind and Solar Farm connections.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Management of in house and external design resources *Project management reporting for internal and external stakeholders *Production of documentation ensuring commercial parameters on projects are adhered to *Managing programmes and ensuring design delivery dates and other technical milestones are achieved *Motivation and performance management of team members *Ensuring works are designed to recognised guidelines and standards *Ensure correct Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to
Your skillset will include
*Significant experience in managing Electrical or Mechanical or Civil design engineers *Power industry experience, in Substations, Cable, Overhead Lines, Windfarms, Battery Storage or Solar *Electrical or Mechanical bias, ideally Degree or Higher Level qualification, or commensurate technical experience *Project Management *An understanding of design principles and how they apply to design and build projects *Excellent team player *Full driving licence *Flexibility towards project workloads
