This is an exciting opportunity for Graduate Engineers to join an enthusiastic team delivering Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring with the UK’s number one testing, inspection and compliance company.
This role will be based out of the Socotec Office in Acton, West London, and will be focused on supporting the delivery of the ~£30M Instrumentation and Monitoring contract on the HS2 S1/S2 section.
Linking with the Technical and Project teams to safely prepare, install and report site installation of monitoring equipment.
The Graduate Engineer will gain exposure of both site based engineering, workshop build/preparation and project based engineering.
The progression path for a Graduate Engineer is either into a Project Engineer (a Project Management path) or into a Site Engineer (an Engineering path).
You will carry out the following tasks, whilst under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Project and Site Teams:
Assist with the administration of projects, from receipt of enquiry to completion.
Take client requirements / instrumentation designs and concepts and develop them into working systems.
Assist with the production of documentation for works on a variety of third party assets.
Link between the Technical, Site and Project teams.
Organise access to various third party properties/infrastructures.
