A leading organisation operating within the logistics sector is looking for an IT Security Analyst to join their team in Southampton.

The IT Security Analyst is a hybrid role working on traditional Network and Systems Administration and Cyber Security.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure and Systems Administration to transition into a more Cyber Security focused role.

The IT Security Analyst will:

• Be responsible for the configuration, maintenance and support of Network and Security systems within the estate including
  • Firewalls
  • Web Proxies and Content Filtering
  • Endpoint Protection
  • VPN
  • Vulnerability scanning
• Day to day Incident Management and proactive monitoring of IT Security Systems and associated components.
• Act as a central contact point for IT Security related activity
• Ensure that annual security assessments are completed.
• Plan, manage and implement upgrades and improvement to existing IT Security services and hardware.
• Continuous vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Audit systems and applications for secure configuration.
• Ensure training materials and other applicable technical documentation is created and maintained.
• Participation in Major Incident process when service outages occur.

The IT Security Analyst will have the below experience:

• Experience working with complex IT and Network infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 risks, cyber, infrastructure and application security.
• Strong grasp of TCP/IP, Firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of core IT Technologies (DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS).

This IT Security Analyst role is paying up to £50,000 with excellent benefits, including work from home 2 days a week
