Spring Technology Looking for Commissioning Engineer at Warrington Full Time

Spring Engineering have an exclusive opening for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with PLC Programming skills to join our client’s organisation on a permanent basis.

Our International client provide automated Packing and Pallatization lines to a variety of FMCG industries such as: Meat, Cereals, Pet Food, Cosmetics, Personal and Domestic Hygiene industries.

Due to continued growth and success, they have an opening for Field Commissioning Engineer/Technician to join their team covering Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Responsible of the Start-up the Machinery: assembly, set-up and programming, commissioning/troubleshooting and on-going support and service.

JOB OBJECTIVE AND ASSESSMENT
To ensure the design, implementation, and start-up phases of the assigned projects,
following the indications established by the project manager, and providing the maximum
added value in the performance of the tasks.
The site will be assessed in terms of responsibility and contribution within the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, improve and update the PLC software.
Follow up the testing of prototypes and commissioning of marketable equipment.
Perform automation designs, using computer aided design/modeling software.
Production and implementation of designs and test procedures.
Test, evaluate, modify and re-test programs / designs.
Writing reports and documentation.
Technical advice
Analyze and interpret the data.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

Relevant Engineering: Industrial, Electronics, Industrial and Automatic, Computer Science,
Mechatronics qualification of equivalent
Knowledge of:
PLC programming in structured language (codesys) and contact language
Artificial vision, C++ programming, Java Script
Servomotors
Experience in robotics and/or automation desirable
Experience in a similar role
Customer focused/orientated
Flexible/Cooperative Team Player

REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to travel
Up to @ 90% based at client site – on occasional overnights away from home will be required.
Availability to travel.
Driving license Essential.
