Staffbase Recruitment Looking for Field Service Engineer at Worcester Full Time

Our client is one of the world leading manufacturers of machinery for use in the wood manufacturing sector and due to their continued expansion Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for machine maintenance service and repair activities at client sites throughout the UK.

The Role:

Reporting to the service manager you will be responsible for machine maintenance, service and repair of wood working machinery at various locations throughout the UK.

Duties will include but is not limited to the following;

• Installation, maintenance, service and repair of wood work machinery including panel saws, edge banders, routers, milling machines, moulders, cutting machines and more.
• Mechanical maintenance activities will involve the removal and replacement on broken and worn component parts such as chains, sprockets, linear bearings, and ball screws.
• Electrical maintenance work will include fault find and repair on motors, servos, 415v and 24v circuits
• Providing operational training for customers

Candidate:

The successful candidate will have good mechanical and basic electrical engineering experience.

Applicants with previous machine maintenance experience would be preferred however full training will be given.

You will demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and you will be of a friendly disposition.

Field serviice engineer experience essential and applicants must be prepared to travel and stay away from home.
