HR Co-ordinator
(Competitive salary, full-time, permanent, 52-week contract)
This is an established position supporting the Head of Human Resources in all aspects of human resources at Shrewsbury School. The successful person will have worked in a busy administrative role previously.
You will have a passion for working with others and able to build working relationships quickly as this role involves maintaining relationships and providing excellent HR support. You will be the first point of contact in HR therefore you must have excellent people skills and customer services skills. Being highly organised in everything you do because your day will be varied and, at times, you may be dealing with conflicting priorities.
You will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new employees into the school, which will include pre-appoint checks in accordance with our safer recruitment procedures. Ideally the successful candidate will already have experience in recruitment, or have some knowledge in this area.
As you will be the first point of contact in the Department you will be friendly and approachable with a positive attitude. It is essential that you are highly competent in ICT, and able to work with bespoke software systems.
This is a varied and busy position where any one day will not be the same, therefore you will enjoy the challenges that this may bring.
