About the role 

We are looking for dynamic iOS Software engineer to join our Software Dept.  In support of our exciting Consumer and Elite business growth plans, you will be working as part of the product team within Consumer app development domain.  Collaborating with product managers, technical leads, developers, QA leads, technical support analysts and Architects you will be part of the team bringing new and exciting product features and apps to our global sports markets.   

What you’ll do 

• Participate in the design and development of innovative solutions for our Consumer and Elite products 
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver features on time and to specifications 
• Promote the adoption of new technologies to be used in an up-and-coming new product build 
• Collaborate with team members to refine our best practices and processes 
• Participate in code reviews and help define our technical roadmap 
• Mentor other team members 
• Provide thought leadership in driving engineering excellence and bring your passion for technology to motivate and inspire on a day-to-day basis. 

About you 

You’ll need to have

• Mobile development experience working in a fast pace and agile environment with proven ability to work with product management, UX designers, developers, and QA engineers, at a junior or mid-level 
• Excellent proficiency in building mobile apps with Swift using SwiftUI 
• Working knowledge of low-level C-based libraries 
• Experience interfacing with external sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy 
• Proficient in the design and consumption of RESTful API’s 

It’d be great if you have

• Experience in developing real-time data applications 
• Extensive experience developing network-based applications using a variety of protocols including UDP and TCP 
• Proficiency with DevOps workflow including Git and continuous integration/continuous delivery 
• Knowledge of mobile security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms – AWS and Azure
