An exciting opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse has arisen in a medical centre in Central London.
About the Lead Practice Nurse role and what the hospital is offering:
• A permanent contract with full time hours available
• Working hours between 9.00 – 17.30 Monday to friday
• An annual salary up to £60,000
• Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses including onward referrals to GP or hospital emergency services.
• Support head of nursing with primary care audits
• Help with staff mentoring
As lead Practice Nurse, we need you to be forwards thinking with experience with long term health conditions. You will have to be open to change and open to work in a non-traditional care system. As a lead Practice Nurse, you will need to have a passion for helping patients to live a healthy lifestyle with your skills, health prevention.
What we’re looking for in a lead Practice Nurse:
• Qualified, RGN with NMC registration
• Post registration experience
• Experience of working in primary care
• Prescribing mediation through PGDs
• Clinical leadership experience is ideal
• Well organised and able to multi-task
