Field Service Engineer – Electrical
An exciting position has become available for a full-time Field Service Engineer in Leeds / Bradford. You will be based from home and will travel to customers sites across Yorkshire and occasionally the UK. The company office is located in Northampton.
The successful candidate will initially earn £35,000 – £40,000 per year with future pay reviews, depending on ability and experience. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend overtime available.
You will be skilled in Electrical and Electronic Principles, with a proven track record involving the fitting, repair, service and calibration of CNC Control systems fitted to industrial machinery.
Role Requirements
Electrical/Electronic qualifications to at least BTEC National Certificate or HNC level or equivalent
Ability to understand and work from technical drawings, repair and fault find on control systems at component level
Have an understanding of mechanical / hydraulic systems
Have self-confidence and the ability to work on own initiative
Be able to communicate on all levels
Have clean driving licence
Have own basic tool kit
Be willing to undertake short periods of work overseas
Role Responsibilities
You will be an experienced control systems engineer and carry out service/repairs and retrofits to control units and ancillary electrical parts fitted to Sheet Metal Working Machinery.
