Taylor Herrick Recruitment are looking to recruit a Construction Manager for a 300 unit residential and commercial scheme in Nottingham.
This position is with the master developer who are providing key infrastructure for a phased parcel release, whilst also delivering the business park / commercial element.
The ideal candidate will be from a clerk of works background (infrastructure / construction) who is used to managing various contractors and house builders on site whilst still maintaining quality and cost.
The scheme has had the first phase of the infrastructure built, which is about 2km of roads and drainage along with earthworks. The next stage will be over 18months and will be a major signalised junction, 0.5km of road and infrastructure, 1 major internal roundabout, and a 2 km of finishing works and a key S278 junction.
We envisage that this role could work part time or full time, between 3-5 days per week.
It is absolutely essential that the person they appoint is a good communicator and someone who can manage and maintain robust relationships between stakeholders.
