Location: Commutable from Horsham, Crawley, Dorking, East Grinstead and surrounding areas
We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter
to work in a factory environment supporting maintenance across their production machinery. Working on a 4 on 4 off, 6 am till 6pm shift pattern, within a small team of Engineers. It is likely to be a 3 to 6 month temporary contract, with a possibility of it being longer.
The role will include working reactively, dealing with machinery problems, breakdowns and repairs, as well as working through planned preventative maintenance and project work.
The mechanical work covers everything from bearings, shafts, gear boxes, chain drives, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
The idea candidate will have experience of working in a similar environment, so either manufacturing or industrial or automated, supporting maintenance work. You must be mechanically qualified and experienced in Maintenance Engineering.
