We have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager. In this role you will be responsible for taking ownership of the end-to-end bidding process and creating winning propositions through leveraging the capabilities, solutions and services of XMA and its partners.

LOCATION: Nottingham – hybrid 2 days in the office, 3 days home-working.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS:  Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Cambridgeshire.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

The Bid Manager will work closely with other parts of XMA and their many partners and will drive the development of robust and competitive proposals, along with leading the development of documentation and technical responses.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• You will manage the bid qualification process for new opportunities, developing a winning bid strategy.

• Support storyboarding / answer planning development
• Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
• Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
• You will also create, implement and manage the Bid Plan to deliver bid requirements on time and on budget.
• Contributing to the written proposal – both in terms of content and presentation (such as preparation of a management summary).

REQUIREMENTS:

This fantastic role will suit someone ideally from an Information Technology background, who is able to evidence experience of following a structured bid design process on opportunities from £0.5 million to complex £100 million plus deals.

We are particularly keen to hear from proactive individuals who is a confident and articulate communicator with the natural ability to build and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders, a team player and a strong influencer.
