Role Description:
The Resolute group has been retained to identify and place a Project Manager to work with in the Rail team, supporting Network Rail with managing a Station portfolio. This role is about managing the asset / building from a fire risk assessment and fire safety aspect.
Working with in the Asset management team you will be ensuring the fire risk assessments are being carried out as per the correct standards. This covers both existing, new build and refurbished buildings with you working between the FM and Capital projects team. Excellent communication and stakeholder skills are key as you will liaising with project teams, contractors, consultancies, and internal management.
You don’t need to be a fire specialist as there is a team around you for technical support, this is about understand what a fire risk assessment is and developing your knowledge around the Network Rail standards. Filing the reports on the internal system, maintaining updated records, and ensuring the asset management from a Fire risk assessment aspect is updated and maintained correctly.
On major project upgrades its working with the on-site teams and sub-contractors to enforce Network Rails standards and updating the internal asset management systems. Working in collaboration with the various stakeholders to ensure a positive outcome.
This role would be ideal for someone looking to make that step from a consultancy, FM based organisation or fire risk assessment industry. Looking to develop a career within the Railway sector, developing knowledge of Network Rail and based in the London so no need for managing a UK portfolio or lodging away.
