This is an exciting time to join the Council as we bring the old Royal London Hospital in the heart of Whitechapel back to life as the Council’s administrative centre and Town Hall. Conveniently located opposite the underground station with good transport links including the new Elizabeth Line. Tower Hamlets offers the best of London in one borough. Our professional HR and Learning Organisation and Cultural Development (LOCD) Team play a crucial role providing a range of services and expertise across all areas of the Council’s work.
This role will play a key part in supporting the work of HR to determine the cause of the Council’s pay gaps in terms of gender and ethnicity, and determining actions needed to close them. They will also manipulate, interrogate, and analyse HR related data as needed.
We are looking for an experienced data analyst, with strong analytical and numerical skills and knowledge, and a demonstrable ability to work with complex datasets.
The successful candidate should have advanced knowledge and experience in using business intelligence, analytics and visualisation tools and mediums, including Power BI, Excel, and Business Objects, to make data accessible for the development of actionable insights and to present data in high impact visualisations.
Alongside this, experience of successfully managing and delivering data product projects or programmes and of data modelling is essential.
