Contract type: FTC (3 months), full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (some flexibility around hours)

Location: London (nearest tube station – Hampstead)

Do you have a background in supporting vulnerable adults? TPP are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Centre Manager to join our client’s team.

The Role:

As a Centre Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the centre, ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable adults and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Centre Oversight: Manage and oversee daily operations of the centre.
• Client Support: Provide one-to-one support as needed, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Team Leadership: Effectively manage and coordinate the team.
• Transport Coordination: Coordinate transportation for clients, including pick-up and drop-off arrangements.
• Council Liaison: Maintain communication with the local council regarding client funding for transportation.
• Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being at the centre.
• Activity Coordination: Organise and coordinate activities and programmes.
• Volunteer Engagement: Manage and coordinate volunteers.
• Performance Monitoring: Assess and monitor team performance, ensuring high standards of care.
• Food Hygiene Training: Have food hygiene training or willingness to complete an online course through the centre.

Essential requirements:

• Understanding of elderly people’s needs and challenges.
• Proactive and approachable with strong managerial experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role working with vulnerable individuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards of care and safety.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Hold an enhanced DBS check to work with vulnerable adults.
