We are looking to recruit a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) based in Whalley Range, South Manchester.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be welcomed into a friendly, supportive team. The HLTA role includes:
- Assisting the class teacher in the organisation and preparation of the classroom.
- Teaching phonics lessons to groups of children.
- Using lesson plans to lead small group/whole class sessions.
- Working alongside children to support the learning in class.
- Using the behaviour policy to support in the management of behaviour.

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have school-based experience and HLTA/Level 4 TA qualifications or perhaps you are an ECT looking for a foot-in-the-door in a brilliant school
- Experience and knowledge of phonics phases.
- Hold a valid DBS or be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
