Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for a leading National charity who are seeking to appoint a Housing and Resettlement Support Officer. The charity has been established over 30 years and has helped thousands of people in a wide variety of ways. This role is to support homeless individuals make the transition into social housing as smooth as possible through intensive support. Carrying a very small caseload of six individuals you will work to develop a strong working relationship to ensure all elements are in place both prior to the move and beyond. A very rewarding role for the right candidate.
About the role
Manchester Services employ teams dedicated to supporting adults with a wide range of needs and complexity in Recovery Accommodation, Floating Support and Resettlement. We currently have a vacancy across in the team who will work on a new phase of the Rough Sleeping Accommodation Project (RSAP ) supporting individuals to move into tenancies offering guidance and support through personalised support interventions to avoid eviction, improve independent living skills, maximise life opportunities, reduce social isolation and promote improved health and wellbeing. The role involves carrying a busy and varied caseload, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to manage this.
This role is a role where you will be employed on a perm basis by the charity but seconded to the Housing First Project within the local authority.
