Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller Mansfield c£22-24k Depn on experience We have a great opportunity for candidates at all stages of their accounting career to join a highly successful local business. Your role as Accounts assistant / credit control will involve: Assisting the Credit Manager with credit functions – processing new account applications, performing credit checks, obtaining limits and payment terms, ensuring customers sign terms and conditions. Sales ledger duties – processing receipts, daily and monthly ledger reconciliations Processing customer credit notes from the returns system, producing statements of account Chasing for payment via phone, email and escalating any issues and problems Dealing with customer queries efficiently Support the credit manager and sales manager to ensure internal stock levels are correct and reporting on sales figures Reporting on client annual sales figures The ideal candidate for the role of accounts assistant / credit control must have: A good level of IT skills including the ability to create Vlookups and pivot tables in Excel The ability to learn new databases and develop skills to perform database queries to extract data to Excel Accounts experience at any level Credit control experience would be an advantage but not essential IT Literate with a good level of both Maths and English Interested Call TurnerFox Recruitment on (phone number removed) or email your CV Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications received we are unable to respond with feedback to all applicants.
