Salary: UH9 £53,353 pa to £60,027 pa with potential to progress to £63,673 pa on achieving designated skills and experience

Main duties and responsibilities
Are you an experienced strategic marketing lead excited by the opportunity to take our student recruitment acquisition activity to the next level? We are looking for the right candidate who will be inspired by the opportunity to encourage the next generation into Higher Education and be well versed in digital marketing tools, techniques, and channels.
We nurture our enquirer and applicant relationships through early engagement with schools and colleges right through to registering those applicants into students and there are opportunities throughout that lifecycle that can be impacted and improved by strategic marketing actions and interventions.
As the successful candidate, you will develop and deliver an insight led strategic marketing plan for acquisition of undergraduate and postgraduate students from awareness through to registration, including our recruitment events, meeting annual targets, and delivering year on year improvement in performance.
You will work alongside our Admissions teams to drive policy and process change where needed and support the delivery of an efficient and effective Clearing operation. You will also work closely with our Insight team to drive strategic recommendations for future portfolio, tariff and fee setting across all student segments.
Skills and experience required
You will have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering successful strategic acquisition marketing plans particularly using digital tools and techniques as well as knowledge of CRM systems and processes.
In addition, you will be an inspirational and experienced leader used to working with high performing teams. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills and experience of complex budgets are essential requirements in this role.
Furthermore, you will be highly organised and able to coordinate, lead and inspire large teams and resources to deliver complex projects successfully.
And of course, you will be a customer-focused, effective influencer who is able to use strong negotiating skills to build rapport with senior stakeholders within the University and externally.
Qualifications required
You will ideally have a related degree or equivalent experience and/or a professional Marketing qualification such as CIM.
