There is an ability to work remotely (within the UK) but the successful applicant must be prepared to travel to the University when required and to travel to undertake their research responsibilities in the East of England.

For the role of Research Fellow, we will expect you to:
This post will require working in partnership with colleagues across Hertfordshire and Norfolk; developing relationships with social care providers.
For the role of Senior Research Assistant you will have experience working as part of a research team in an HEI or industry and demonstrable research experience at undergraduate level and a good understanding of social care policy and provision in England. You will have good IT skills and knowledge of appropriate databases.
For the role of Research Fellow, you will have proven experience working in a research environment and experience of presenting research findings to conferences and symposia at a local and national level. You will also have research experience of collaborating with social care and, as appropriate, health care and public health professionals and experience of collaborating with service user/public groups in applied research. You must be able to deal with sensitive material with strict confidentiality and have good oral and written communication skills in English.
For either role you will hold a minimum of an undergraduate honours degree at a minimum 2:2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
For the role of Research Fellow you must also hold A PhD (or close to the completion of a PhD) in an area related to social care or health research; or evidence of equivalent independent original qualitative and/or quantitative research experience.
