VANRATH Looking for Patch Delivery & Automation Manager (£75K) (Global Firm) at Remote Full Time

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting with the recruitment of a Patch Delivery & Automation Manager for a leading Global law firm operating in over thirty countries.

This role will be Hybrid working – 2 days in State of the Art Belfast City Centre offices, 3 days at Home – Permanent position.

Salary

£60,000 – £75,000 (Higher salary can be negotiated) + Leading Benefits from a Global firm + Discretionary bonuses & Yearly salary reviews

Responsibilities

The Patch Delivery & Automation Manager is accountable for defining and implementing strategy for patch delivery.

• Patching and remediation of technology services owned by respective I&O support teams, including, but not limited to:
  • DMS
  • Enterprise Apps
  • M365
  • End User Compute
  • Networks
  • Systems
• Define the policies that drive the assessment, testing and application of patches. Work with Information Security to ensure the existing vulnerability management framework is followed
• Develop and communicate patch delivery and test plans
• Prioritise the automation of patch delivery, using the return on effort to determine which workflows will be automated
• Adopt meaningful metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficient of the patch delivery process

The remit of this team is global and extends to all aspects of infrastructure & operations.

The role involves ownership, leadership, and day-to-day execution of the following:

• Work with metrics to help analyse and prioritise patch delivery activities
• Drive activities to deliver patches as efficiently and effectively as possible
• Work with industry standard tools as well as implement new innovative solutions
• Work I&O teams to develop appropriate testing plans for patch delivery, minimising business disruption.
• The remit of this role is global and extends to all aspects of the product set, independent of location
• This role is seen as a ‘hands on’ role, with team management duties

The Ideal Person

• Degree qualified, or those candidates with less or no qualifications must have considerably more experience.
• Extensive job related experience to include supporting a number of the technologies listed above.
• Proven track record in providing technical leadership and delivering enterprise-wide solutions
• Experience of working in a global environment across international locations with an appreciation of multiple cultures is desirable.
• Accreditation in relevant technologies, is also desirable
