The South Yorkshire Integrated Care System (SY ICS) is a partnership of heath and care organisations, local government and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. It exists to improve population health, tackle health inequalities, enhance productivity and help the NHS support broader social and economic development.
We are looking to recruit a key post to increase the capacity of VCSE leaders and infrastructure organisations to engage in the programme and contribute to transformational change.
The Engagement and Partnership Officer will support the development of meaningful engagement, involvement and collaboration between the VCSE sector and ICS in the South Yorkshire area (Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham), ensuring that the VCSE sector realises its potential as a key strategic delivery partner. Employed by Voluntary Action Rotherham on behalf of the partnership, the postholder will lead and co-ordinate VCSE engagement activity within thematic work-streams, ensuring the sector supports local health and wellbeing priorities.

As well as having the ability to interpret highly complex programme information and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders, the successful candidate must have the ability to influence at a high level across a range of services, stakeholders and organisations.
The role will require regular attendance at meetings outside of normal working hours, therefore, the successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours when required to meet work demands.
