Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting an Associate Accountant for a well-known, household name and globally established business. They are rapidly growing, and this role has come up due to continued growth within the team. The position is a commercial finance role and would suit someone who is actively studying (ideally part-qualified).
About the role – key responsibilities:
- Preparing inventory adjustments and journal entries
- Reconciling inventory quantities and values at month ends and after stock takes
- Reconciling month end differences (i.e. sales adjustments)
- Working closely with other departments to understand cause of variances and needed corrections
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Banking, loan transactions and reconciliations
- Foreign currency revaluations
- Fixed assets / depreciation postings and reconciliations
- Intercompany recharges / reconciliations
What you will need to be successful:
- Part-qualified ideally and studying towards a qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Previous experience within an accounting or finance role
- SAP knowledge (ideally but not necessary)
- Accounting experience within FMCG (ideal but not a necessity)
