A brand new and very exciting role has become available for a Commercial Finance business partner to work for a global Media/Marketing business based in the heart of London on a 12 month fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities-:
Quote Preparation. Work closely with senior account management to create individual project quotes and annual budgets. Ensure quotes are in line with the scope of work being offered. Provide different scenarios of options. Create quotes for new business pitches
Account Profitability. Work closely with the account management teams to ensure they are running the account efficiently. Ensure permanent and freelance staffing is sufficient to deliver the scope of work, whilst at the same time maximising profit. Ensure that central teams such as planning and design are recharged to clients. Where there are issues, create and implement resolutions to improve profitability.
Reporting and Analysis. Along with the other members of the Commercial Finance Team, produce analysis to aid the efficient running of the business. These will include:
a) Utilisation recovery reporting. Showing time and fee charged versus potential maximum utilisation b) Management reporting. Showing at a summary level, the current revenue, profit and other KPIs for board consumption and discussion. c) Group Reporting. P&L, Balance Sheet and working capital reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. d) Client friendly reports. Reports covering all aspects of the client’s financial interaction with staff burn rates and third party costs. Presentation of financial information. Present financial information in a clear manner to non-financial staff verbally, in writing and with presentations.
