Xodus support clients in undertaking front end engineering studies in areas such as electrification, CCUS, Hydrogen, renewables as well as conventional Oil and Gas.
As we move further into the scoping, development and execution of such energy projects, we require to add new skills and experience to our consultancy mix. Due to continued and expected growth with our hydrocarbons, decarbonisation and hydrogen engineering capability Xodus is looking to strengthen our rotating Piping & Layout Engineering capability.

Requirements
The role demands a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant with experience of working in multi-discipline teams through various design phases, as well as having an active interest in assisting clients and the wider energy industry through the transition to Net Zero.
The successful candidate will be capable of providing input to a study team, using engineering knowledge and judgement, to find and implement first class proactive solutions for our clients. They should have prior experience of working on FEED and Pre-FEED multi-discipline studies, in accordance with widely recognised industry standards, techniques and technologies, as well as be keen to contribute to the learning of others.
The candidate should be comfortable with communicating engineering concepts in a straightforward manner to other engineers, project managers, superiors, and clients, demonstrating the ability to summarize key parameters and drivers succinctly for all audiences and being competent at interfacing at all levels with a wide variety of disciplines. Ideally, the candidate will also be comfortable in supporting piping and layout engineering concepts to FEED level.
The role will also demand the candidate to be adaptable to varying assignments at short notice and multi-task for delivery of concurrent assignments, as required, as well as be able to convey the Company’s competencies, vision and values to internal and external clients.
The role requires a pro-active, diligent approach with excellent communication, report writing, presentation skills with the ability to summarize key parameters and drivers. Innovative and creative thinking is part of the culture in Xodus and all our engineers need to the ability and proven track record in problem solving.
